President of the GDA Faye Joseph presents the winning prize to captain of Mix Up side Mark Wiltshire in the presence of his team mates.
Mix Up were the opposite as their name suggest on Wednesday night when the emerged winners of the Champion of Champions dominoes tournament at Dynasty Sports bar.
Led by Man-of-the-match Mahendra Sankar with 17 games and Clarence Whitehead 16, Mix Up chalked 87 games to beat Specialist with 78 and Masters on 69 in the final. Ken Wahl and Trevor Smith got 16 and 15 games respectively for Specialist, while Rodwell Phillips made 15 and Ellen Smith 14 for Masters.
Mix Up pocketed $175,000, Specialist $60,000 and Masters $20,000.
President of the Georgetown Dominoes Association Faye Joseph congratulated the winners and thanked the sponsors.
The tournament was sponsored by Dynasty Sports bar, Big Boss Trucking Service, Faye Joseph, Strikers Sports bar and Rodrick Harry.
