The Ministry of Social Protection, the Toronto West East Branch of the PNC/R and the Regional Democratic Council all made financial contributions towards the construction of the Family Recreational Park and the printing of T-Shirts for RHTY&SC members.
The Family Recreational Park would be opened on September 23rd and among the facilities would be a benab, swing, slide, seesaws and flower garden among others as part of the Club’s and the Guyana Police Force Say No to Crime, Drugs and Suicide Campaign.
Secretary/CEO Hilbert Foster disclosed that apart from a few minor challenges which would be overcome, all plans are in place for hosting of the events by the club’s eight cricket teams. Thanks have been extended to Regional Chairman David Armogan, Minister of Social Protection Volda Lawerence, Mr. Tulsi of Factory Price Store, Mr. Artie Ricknauth of the Toronto Group and Mr. Marc Telting of Busta, for their collective support.
