Dear Editor,
Kindly permit me via your respective column’s to engage Roxanne Burnham Van West Charles on a historical research project. There is a photo image from Mass Games in the early 1980’s and the young lady wearing glasses is said to be one of the late LFS Burnham’s daughter. The other participant directly to her right could very well be Morag Williams, daughter of the late Anthropologist, Denis Williams. Can R.B. Van West Charles say if it was her or perhaps a sister? Which year was it?
Did Mass Games start in 1980 or 1981? During one of the Mass Games event, LFS Burnham was chauffeured in a ‘Black Vintage English made vehicle which I found in storage/holding bay and shared the photos with all newspapers. Subsequently my correspondence was published in at least two newspapers. I understand that the said vehicle could have also chauffeured ‘QUEEN ELISABETH 11’ during her 1966 Independence visit. Can R.B. Van West Charles say for sure if that ‘Black Vintage English Made Vehicle’ in question was indeed the same vehicle?
