Dear Editor,
Clive Thomas’ statement that Guysuco is selling land because it is cash strapped is disappointing. No business, organisation or its management worth its salt, or in this case its sugar, sell its assets to finance current operating expenditure. I am surprised that Clive Thomas is taking this approach. Clive Thomas had a lot to say when the incompetent clique was in the forefront of the PPP when the PPP was in office but he doesn’t seem to have much to say these days. There is not much action on his part either. Maybe he is all talk. Maybe the coalition has relegated him, Rupert Roopnarine and the WPA into the dustbins of history.
