Guyana male team successfully defended their Three-Hand title when the World Council Dominoes Federation (WCDF) staged the international tournament recently in Antigua and Barbuda. Guyana chalked up 14 points
to finish narrowly ahead of Antigua & Barbuda with 13.5 and the United States of America on 13.
The most outstanding players were Michael Pooran and Bruce Goodman, both accumulating 79 games throughout the tournament. Meanwhile, the Guyanese female team narrowly lost out to Antigua and Barbuda for the title. The locals ended on 13 points one less than the winners, Barbados was third with 11. Lorane Rodway was named the MVP of the tournament for her tally of 79 games, overall.
