Taking on the mantle of leadership from the front, Topp XX’s Captain Emanuel Atkins blasted a hat-trick to lead his side to a thumping 6-0 win over Amelia’s Ward Panthers when play in the Upper Demerara Football Association (UDFA) leg of the GFF/NAMILCO Thunderbolt Flour Power National Under-17 league continued at the Wisburg School ground.
Atkins was in dismissive form in leading his side and was ably supported by three of his colleagues who added more spark to Topp XX’s offensive ambitions. Kurliegh Hooper, Andre Myers and Carlon Hinds all netted a goal each to complete their side’s demolition of Amelia’s Ward.
