Guyana successfully defended their three-hand title when the World Council Dominoes Federation staged their international tournament recently in Antigua.
Guyana chalked up 14 points to finish ahead of Antigua with 13.5 and the United States of America on 13. Guyana’s most outstanding players were Michael Pooran and Bruce Goodman, both making 79 games in the tournament.
Guyana placed second in the female segment with 13 points, while Antigua took the winners prize with 14 and Barbados third on 11. Lorane Rodway was the MVP with 79 games.
