Guyana’s National Pre-Cadet team will begin its quest today for regional honours at the 2106 Caribbean Pre-Cadet table tennis championships scheduled for the National Arena, Kingston Jamaica August 21-28.
The 22 member delegation comprising of an enthusiastic bunch of Guyana’s young talented racquet wielders departed Guyana on Sunday on a Fly Jamaica Flight to Kingston, Jamaica to participate in the above mentioned Championships.
The team arrived in Kingston at 4:30am rested and had its first practice session yesterday and is rearing to go into competition that will start in the team events Girls 11 and 13 years and under and boys 11 and 13 years and under.
This will be followed by action in doubles, mixed doubles, and singles in the respective age groups.
