Beacons’ Joshua Jones continues to hit the back of the nets with consistency in the Bartica leg of the GFF/NAMILCO Thunderbolt Flour Power National Under-17 League.
Jones scored all three of his teams’ goals in their 2-1 win over Ballers and a 1-1 draw with Riversview; Emanuel Atherly netted Ballers’ consolation goal, while Kellon Richardson responded for Riversview in the drawn match. In latest play, Shairoon Khan blasted the nets in the 26th and 57th minute in leading Lazio to a 2-0 blanking of Agatash FC. Wolves United did not have to break a sweat in taking full points against Potaro Strikers which did not show up.
Riversview were able to rebound to a solid 2-0 win over Rising Stars in their next match thanks to a Kellon Richardson brace which were scored in the 25th and 50th minute. Lazio and Wolves also won via the walk over route from Potaro Strikers Agatash FC, respectively.
