After a lull due to the inclement weather, volleyball action in Berbice is back at full tilt. After the successful staging of the Jets one day volleyball competition on the Upper Corentyne on Sunday 14th the Volleyball
action now swings to the West Berbice.
The Berbice Volleyball Association (BVA) will on Sunday 28th August be hosting the 3 Doors Strikers Volleyball Competition at the club’s court at D’Edward Village, West Bank, Berbice.
Over 20 teams are expected to take to the court to take part in the all-day competition which is expected to feature games among the male and female seniors and junior males.
Teams are expected from Orealla/ Siparuta, up the Corentyne River, Rollers of New Amsterdam, No.52 Survivals, Jets of Corriverton, Tain Humanitarian, Port Mourant Jaguars, PMTC, GTCPM, host 3 Doors strikers, Black Bush and Berbice High School among others.
Incentives will be presented to the top teams in the various categories and the outstanding individual players.
The activity will be coordinated by BVA President and National Coach Levi Nedd. Action serves off at 09:00 hrs.
