Dear Editor,
I am providing preemptive notice (Saturday, August 13) that I am unwilling to continue any dialogue with Mr. Tyrone Talbot. KN did say that due to the length of his writing on August 13th that the other part would follow. I neither know nor I care what he has to offer, but I did learn a few things from his last writing.
To put it politely, I refuse to deal with anyone who seeks to rationalize the irrational and defend the indefensible. There is no logic or anything of the constructive that would emanate. Thus there is no sense in further engagement; nothing that recommends otherwise. Whenever there is a distinct lack of association with either honesty, or objectivity, or reality, then I move on. I have done so before, I do so again today.
Rather regrettably, it is emphasized to me once again, and in sharp focus, why this country is where it finds itself. It is in this state because of those who pride themselves on being apologists, propagandists, and contortionists in service of what has made this land wretched and deplorable. There are overpopulated armies comfortably ensconced on their respective side of the political, ethnic, and social fence. They like it there; and that is why it has gotten more thickly populated in the last 50 years, or more. Fellow travelers are found so easily.
It is why this country lurches from election to election learning nothing, and going nowhere in the intervals between. Rather sadly, barring a significant partnering with truth, and revolutionary mental adjustments, then more of the same is in store.
