Volleyball action resumes in Berbice tomorrow, Sunday 14th August, after a break due to the inclement weather as the Berbice Volleyball Association (BVA) season continues.
Teams are busy preparing to take to the court for one day competition which is sponsored by the Corriverton Jets Volleyball Club and organized by the BVA.
The competition will take place at the Skeldon Line Path ground and first serve is expected at 09:00 hrs.
A number of teams are expected to participate including seven (male and female) teams from the Orealla/ Siparuta area up the Corentyne River.
Among other expected to participate are Rollers, No.52 Survivals, Jets, Tain Humanitarian, Port Mourant Jaguars, PMTC, GTCPM, Three Doors strikers, Black Bush and Berbice High School. Other teams are also expected to be a part of the competition.
A full day of volleyball is anticipated as the teams are expected to compete in the senior male, B division junior and the female categories.
Incentives will be presented to the top teams in the various categories and the outstanding individual players.
