Nigel Hinds resigned yesterday from the National Sports Commission (NSC) with immediate effect after serving just under a year. Hinds is incumbent Guyana Amateur Basketball Federation (GABF) President.
At the time of his resignation yesterday, he was Vice-Chairman of the Commission. Below is the full text of the email sent to Kaieteur Sport.
“I hereby resign with immediate effect from my post as a Commissioner of the National Sports Commission.
Many thanks to all those who have supported me during my stint as Commissioner, and those who assisted greatly with sourcing funds that allowed Guyana to host the 2016 CBC U16 Games during our Golden Jubilee Year of Independence”.
