HS Masters defeated Regal Masters by 12 runs last Sunday in action in the Wolf’s Challenge Cup Softball Cricket competition. HS Masters made 143-4 off 20 overs. Danny Mohanram 64 and B. Lakeram 25 led the scoring, while David Harper 2-26 for Regal who replied with 132-6 in their 20 overs. Mahase Chunilall hit 30 and M. Hardial 21, while B. Lakeram took 3-13 and M. Arjune 2-23 for HS Masters.
In other action: Superior Woods beat Albion Masters by 60 runs. Superior Woods 156-7 off 20 overs. Surujlall Kumar 41, Rudolph Johnson 22 N.O., Peter Persaud 22; John Sumir 3-23, Permaul 2-30. Albion 96 All Out in 17 overs. B. Lanchand 36, Roy Persaud 4-8 and Peter Persaud 3-18.
Wolf Warriors Masters defeated Fisherman Masters by 4 wkts. Fisherman 139-9 off20 overs. G. Persaud 53. H. Dhanraj 3-20. Wolf Warriors 140-7 in 18 overs in reply. Raghunandan Narine 30 and F. Bacchus 25.
In an Emancipation Day Celebration Match at GYO ground, Wellman beat HS Masters by 28 runs. Wellman 192-9 off 20 overs. Nandram Samlall 39, Eon Lovell 41, Wayne Jones 27, Richard Persaud 25 and Rudolph Johnson 4-25. HS Masters 164-5 off 20 Overs. Peter Persaud 51, R. Johnson 32, Oslyn Batson 32, Latchman Kallicharran took 2-18 and W. Jones 2-21.
