The Guyana Cycling Federation (GCF) has informed that Romello Crawford has qualified and will be Guyana’s lone
representative at the Junior Pan Am Track Championships set for Trinidad and Tobago from August 27th – 31st.
Crawford, who missed out on selection for the just concluded Junior Caribbean Cycling Championships that were held in St. Lucia will get his chance now to prove his class and has been registered to participate in the Sprint, Keirin, Scratch, Elimination Race, Points Race, Omnium.
The GCF has further informed that President of the PSL Cycling Club of Trinidad and Tobago Mr. Desmond Roberts has been accredited by the federation to be Crawford’s Manager/Coach at the Championship.
Crawford has since commenced training at the spanking new 250m Indoor Track in Trinidad under the watchful eyes of Roberts.
