Dear Editor,
When will the police open back up the case of the 14 year of Ryan Persaud that was shot by a certain businessman’s son in September 2013 or will the DPP keep file in cold storage. I am calling on the Guyana Police Force to do their work without favour and not be patronized this powerhouse gold dealer that has shot and killed 14 year old Ryan Persaud of West Bank Demerara.
I am a father of three sons. I have seen over the years this businessman son destroy people’s children lives, their character, their peace with his financial power. I strongly believe that the case should be reopened to bring comfort to the family of Ryan Persaud and justice be served.
This story was covered up by the previous Government. Is this Government walking in the same shoes? I hope not. Also the businessman son in 2010 had beaten four of his workers (editor’s note; names were included) and nothing came out of this. So when you see these people moving around in bulletproof vehicles it is not because of their business but because of the things they do to people on a regular basis.
