Dear Editor;
A certain foreigner was the pilot who gave the overseas pilot the inside information on getting the aircraft out of Ogle. He was a senior pilot at Oxford Aviation Inc. The story that was published was false and misleading to the public.
The aircraft was sold before any court injunction was issued. He aided the owners in the USA on how to get the aircraft out of Guyana when they repossessed the aircraft.
He made it clear that no one should know his involvement. He was also tested positive for drugs by the company and the GCAA was notified.
Furthermore he has been in Guyana illegally on an expired visa. The named pilot was not the pilot. The pilots were two Americans who were contracted to repossess the plane for the new owner.
On June 19, this foreigner arranged the accommodations for the pilots and gave them the infomation on what to do in Guyana. He was also the pilot who flew the aircraft back in November that struck the wing of the other aircraft. He was afraid of being sued and helped to get the aircraft out for the new owners.
FYI the other aircraft that was struck in Ekeru was also parked illegally at the end of a runway against the guide mandate of ICAO guidelines.
Concerned pilot
