The Office of the Prime Minister mourns the passing of His Lordship the Right Reverend Randolph George, former Anglican Bishop of Guyana, who passed on Monday.
Prime Minister Moses Nagamootoo extended to Mrs. Sheila George, the wife of former Bishop George, his four children – Gail, George, David and Christopher and to the entire Anglican community, his sincere condolences.
The Right Reverend Randolph George served the Anglican community for 28 years (1980- 2008) and was bestowed with the Cacique’s Crown of Honour in 1994.
He was a knowledgeable, soft-spoken and amicable leader of the Diocese.
May his soul rest in peace!
