Guyana’s Junior Jaguars restored some pride yesterday as they were looking to do when they opposed host nation United States Virgin Islands in the feature game of the day in first round play of the 2016 Caribbean Football Union’s Under 17 World Cup Qualifying, Group 4, at the Lionel Roberts Stadium, USVI.
Joshua Ferreira (1st half) saw the Guyana team to a 1-0 triumph over the USVI.
Guyana had lost to Jamaica in their opening match 4-1 and were hunting redemption which they claimed.
