Local Tennis team competing in Jamaica event
The respective Girls and Boys players on the team representing Guyana at the Blue Mountain Tennis tournament in Jamaica.
A junior team of tennis players departed Guyana last Friday to participle in the Blue Mountain Tournament being currently contested in Jamaica.
That tournament runs for five days with categories: U12,14,16 and 18…Boys and Girls being contested.
Guyana has representatives in the U12,14,16 Boys and Girls…there will also be doubles in all the categories and a team event.
The next tournament the players will be contesting is the ITF junior also in Jamaica.
That tournament starts on Saturday 16th July and ends on 23rd July.
