The action should be engrossing and the competition stiff when the Foreign Ministry Sports Promotion Team stages a cricket tournament dubbed ‘Workplace Tapeball Cricket Competition’ at the National Cultural Centre Tarmac starting at 09:00hrs this morning.
James ‘Uprising’ Lewis is the coordinator of events and he explained that the function will serve a bifurcated objected. He said that activities are aimed at fostering social cohesiveness within the work place while providing wholesome physical activities to promoting the health and well-being of the workers. Several teams have already conformed to the registration process including Westside Cross Breed, Supreme Court Marshals, Namilco, Princess Hotel, GRDB, Enmore, Beterverwagting Office and the EPA.
