The final of the Region 10 Zone of the Digicel Schools Football Championship had to be rescheduled to today after persistent rain forced its cancellation following an inspection by the match official yesterday, at the Wisburg Secondary School ground in Linden.
According to the officials, the waterlogged ground was unplayable so a decision after consultation with the sponsor was made to play the game today.
The two schools, defending champion Christianburg / Wismar and Kwakwani Secondary will battle for a place in the playoffs and this matchup promises to be a sizzler judging from the earlier performances of both teams.
