St. Ambrose defeated St. Angela’s by three runs when the National Sports Commission 50 shades of games primary schools Windball competition continued recently in Georgetown.
Batting first in the male division, St. Ambrose managed 46-1 with Akalem Griffith scoring 30 and Peter Macey 10. St. Angela’s replied with 43-4. Antonio Mc Arthur got 15; Stephan Hope took 2-10.
Bel Air beat Winfer Gardens by two runs in the female segment. Bel Air took first strike and managed 58 without loss. Sharon James made 53. Winfer Gardens got to 56-6 in reply. Jermain Lambert made 15; Ravin Singh claimed 2-8.
Grahams Hall edged Sophia by one run. Grahams Hall posted 74-1 with Anthony Geer scoring 33 and Joshua Grootfaam 26. Sophia mad 73-2 in reply. Germaine Stewart got 33 and Ronaldo Austin 31.
