President of the South American Confederation of Volleyball, CSV, Mr. Rafael Lloreda, has embarked on a developmental assistance programme for member countries. The Coach responsible for executing this programme, Mr. Marcos Miranda paid a short planning visit to Guyana between June 28-30, last.
Miranda’s visit was to interface with representatives of the Guyana Volleyball Federation (GVF) as well as the federation’s affiliates with a view to plan the best way to utilize his expertise.
Coach Miranda has coached Beach and Indoor volleyball at the Olympic level and is a highly sought after expert. He is expected to return to Guyana in mid September to conduct training for coaches in Berbice, Demerara and Essequibo.
