– KILLER SHOT, CAPTURED
A Best Squatting Area man ran amok early this morning, butchering his wife and two-year-old son at their West Coast Demerara home.
The killer, identified as Suresh Ganesh. chopped his wife, identified as Vanessa Sookram, on the neck. Her neck was almost severed. He reportedly also hacked off some of her fingers.
Her two-year-old son, identified as Joel Ganesh, died from cutlass wounds to the stomach and hands.
The killer’s mother-in-law was reportedly chopped on both hands, but survived.
The killer fled the scene after the 04.00 hrs attack, but was reportedly shot by police after being cornered at Poudroyen.
He is reportedly under guard at the West Demerara Hospital.
