Dear Editor,
Let me be very blunt by saying that the former President is as imbalanced as any such human being in Guyana and perhaps in all of the Caribbean or on the face of the earth. Not only is he mentally challenged, but his comportment behind the microphone makes him look that way. He does not engage his brains before he opens his mouth and whenever he speaks, he sounds very silly. He is known to promote racism and divide the two races in order to score cheap political points. He has told a certain ethnic group in the rural areas of the country, most of whom are PPP supporters at various bottom house meetings not to invest in the country or spend any of their money because the government will steal it.
This in the sick. This is a president who has no class and does not have one ounce of statesman or elegance in his being. He belongs to the ghetto with his cuss-down behavior. This is the president who fooled the nation for ten years that he was married and after the first week of his marriage, he locked his wife out of their bedroom and put her to sleep on the concrete at the ground floor. This is a president who does not understand what it is to be an academic or intellectual because he has constantly used the honorary doctorate degrees he has received from some unrecognized universities in Asia to place the initials “Dr” in front of his name. He is dishonest and is poorly schooled in gentility.
Almost every US president has a number of honorary degrees but never used the title, because they understood academic norms and decorum. This former president of Guyana does not understand decorum. He is the country’s chief mis-spender who denunded the treasury. He is the biggest culprit as a politician that is known to Guyanese and the people of the Caribbean. His place is exactly where he is, in the opposition where he will be for the rest of his life. This is the most barefaced man in Guyana.
How can any sane person say that the owner of Kaieteur News, Glenn Lall, the Minister of Public Security, Khemraj Ramjattan and the Prime Minister are responsible for the throwing of the hand grenade at Glenn Lall’s vehicle? He is definitely suffering from dementia and should seek treatment right away. He is beyond the stage of redemption but this is exactly what was expected to happen to him and his comrades who corrupted the government. It is solid proof that the maker or God acts in mysterious ways against those who robbed the poor and the downtrodden. They shall not inherit their wealth but shall perish in HELL.
This former president used the taxpayers’ money to build the Marriott Hotel out of spite to the owner of the Pegasus and the Berbice Bridge which is the ugliest bridge in the world to enrich his friends and relatives. In both cases, only his friends will be repaid not the taxpayers who invested more than US$60 million in both ventures or 75 percent of the total cost. This boldface liar came into the government with nothing but left with staggering wealth, a palace with a chandelier that cost millions funds and the best ocean front land. The publisher of this media rightly said, this former president has no conscious when it comes to stealing from the poor and he should be behind bars for the rest of the life.
