According to reports out of the Twin Island Republic, Claudius Butts opened the scoring for the Guyanese, Ryan Gonsalves Scored penalty kick to end the scoring for Guyana in the first half which ended 8-5 in favour of Guyana as T&T responded.
In the second period, Australian based Kevin McKenzie scored a try, while Lance Adonis converted. Trinidad responded and fought back to take the lead at 18-15. Ossie McKenzie then powered to score a try and Lance Adonis sealed the game with a conversion to herald celebrations by the Guyanese and their band of supporters. Congratulations are truly in order for this stand out team that continues to stamp their mark on the regional game.
