St. Cuthbert’s Mission Secondary swamped host Hauraruni Secondary by a 11-0 matgin as play in the 6th annual Digicel Secondary Schools Football Championship continued yesterday, at the Hauraruni Community ground.
From the first whistle it was evident that the encounter would have been a one-sided affair and the vistors enjoyed a handy 7-0 lead heading into the halftime interval which they increased further in the second period.
Keoan Kattow led the assault with a first half helmet-trick in the sixth, 17th, 18th and 25th minutes.
He was supported by Zak Ferreira who recorded a hat-trick in the first, 14th and 16th minutes.
Mark Clenkian continued the onslaught in the second period, firing in goals in the 49th and 62nd minutes, while Elroy Dundas added his name on the scorer’s sheet in the 55th and 75th minute.
Action in the event is slated to continue at 15:30hrs at different venues.
In Georgetown at the Tucville ground, Sophia takes on Charlestown, while Mae’s Secondary and Kingston Secondary collide, at the Camp Ayanganna ground.
At the Beterverwagting (BV) ground, Buxton Secondary square off against Plaisance Secondary. Over at the Leonora Sports Facility, Covent Garden tackles Providence and Canje Secondary go up against Overwinning Secondary, at Burnham Park.
