Hassar Nest Sports Club of South better Hope will come alive today June 12 when Troy Hestick hosts a father’s day dominoes competition starting at 13:00hrs.
Entrance fee is $1,000 while trophies and medals are being sponsored by Trophy Stall and Tony Nicholls.
Meanwhile, the South Turkeyen Sports Committee will be staging father’s day walk-a-ton on Saturday June 18 commencing at 06:00hrs.
Participants will be charged a fee of $200 per mile for the event which will start at Square of the Revolution and continue around Georgetown before concluding at the National Park.
After the conclusion of the event which is being orgainsed by Johnny Barnwell some 25 fathers will be honoured in Sophia.
