Mahaica police yesterday nabbed a known drug dealer, Damchan Keeran, with a marijuana stash at his home.
According to police officials, shortly after noon, yesterday, a team of officers from the Mahaica Police Station, acting on information, descended on the home of a Belmont farmer.
Keeran had been known in the past to have had brushes with the law.
Police, during a search of the man’s home, found over 190 grams of marijuana in the kitchen.
The man was arrested and is likely to face charges.
