Food For The Poor (Guy) Incorporated will be celebrating its 25th anniversary of quality service to Guyana today.
The anniversary celebrations will officially be launched with a Day of Reflection at the Police Training Centre, Camp Street, Georgetown from 9:00hrs.
This will be followed by the ‘’Anniversary Thanksgiving Church Service” tomorrow, at St. Theresa’s R.C. Church, Stone Avenue, Campbellville starting at 16:00hrs.
There will be an exhibition of some of the various items Food For The Poor distributes to the poor on June 8 and June 9, 2016 This exhibition will commence at 09:00hrs.each day and will be held at the Police Officers Mess, Eve Leary.
The organization’s 25th Anniversary Dinner is scheduled to be held on Saturday June 25, 2016 at the Guyana Pegasus Hotel. The gathering will be addressed by President and Chief Executive Officer of Food For The Poor Inc, Florida, Mr. Robin Mahfood. That programme begins at 19:30hrs.
FFTP’s month of activities concludes with a Fitness Walk and Health Fair on July 3, 2016 beginning at approximately 7:00 hours in front of the Bank of Guyana building, Main and Church Streets. It concludes in the National Park. Theme: “Walk of Champions – Be a Champion for the Poor.”
