Dear Editor,
I was an independent candidate for the Nation Builders Grouping for Consistency seven (7) at the last local Government Elections and I would like to congratulate APNU/AFC for their resounding victory in Georgetown.
However, I have noticed that their returning councilors are Chase-Green, Oscar Clarke, Junior Garrette, Gregory Fraser and Monica Thomas, but absent from among the returnees is Councillor Eon Andrews, a Councillor, we the vendors and business persons in the Regent and Robb Street area consider to be the best Councillor in the last Council.
He was the only Councillor that was approachable, visible and readily available to settle contentious matters in our Business Community and he was also among the very few that was not corrupt. We are aware that he was an APNU/AFC Proportional Representational Candidate and with him not being on the new Council gives one the impression that the PNC/R is replacing honest intellectual with their faithful protestors.
Concerned Businessman
