Nuff nuff more may be sent to jail

Dear Editor, 

Do you know if stealing from the state treasury is still a crime? I am wondering because in a recent publication, it seems that crime is reported, yet no arrests occur. In fact, what appears as wanted posters for one individual from E-Networks and another from Quark Inc (Movie Star) were published by the newspaper that claims to beacon truth, which many informed citizens appreciate. Together, these two individuals may be responsible for keeping from the treasury approximately $89 million. I am no lawyer, but as a citizen, my concern focuses on whether high crimes and misdemeanors took place, and if so, why these crimes remain unreported. As a result, the crime statistics in Guyana confuses me.
Speaking of confusion, bhai, I see godfather Bai writing to uncle Moon about mistreatment. Is it too late to amend the correspondence and send the balance sheets? Can the amendments also include crimes against humanity? Here, I am wondering how come when a remittance gets sent from overseas, there is a charge to send it, but when it is uplifted the conversion is significantly below the published, official money exchange rate? Maybe making profit and reaping rewards from the poor are mutually exclusive. Maybe when de cow jump over de moon ah gwan get an answers to my questions.
On another note, I am glad the Camp street prison population continues to decrease; however, in the near future there may be no statistical difference in the population. Hopefully there are still a few cots around since nuff nuff more prisoners may be on the way. In fact, should I see the individuals on wanted posters, I will make a citizen’s arrest and take the accused directly to Eve Leary or Brickdam, depending on which is closer. These individuals will have their day in court, and given the outcome, living on the auspices of the state should not be too difficult an adjustment. Enough said.
