An East Ruimveldt woman is pleading with the public for assistance with locating her missing ex-spouse, Logan Crandon whom she last saw over two weeks ago.
Joan Lespeur, who resides at Lot 712 East Ruimveldt, Georgetown, said that she last saw the 78-year-old man on May 11. The woman explained that she and the now missing man were vending in the market when he left to use the washroom and never returned.
According to her, he was last seen wearing a grey stripe jersey and blue pants.
Lespeur said that Crandon is in the habit of wandering off since he had done so many times before.
“The last time he go away was last month…Police call me and he was at Cove and John, East Coast Demerara. Somebody saw him walking on the road and took him into the police.”
When questioned as to what might be triggering Crandon’s actions, a distraught Lespeur explained that he received injuries to his head some time back after he was hit several times with a piece of wood during a robbery.
She said that Crandon’s behaviour changed drastically and he has been experiencing a difficult time recollecting things.
Lespeur said, “A night we selling on the market and he daughter come to see he. I told him look your daughter come and he said that she is not he daughter
She added that she had taken him to a doctor who recommended that he been seen by a brain surgeon since there is a blockage in his head which is preventing blood from circulating.
Lespeur is pleading with him to return home because she is afraid of living alone.
“This man got me worried and grieving”, she cried.
The matter has since been reported to the police.
