The Linden segment of the Guinness ‘Greatest of the Streets’ Futsal Competition resumes this evening with Round of 16 action at the Mackenzie Market Tarmac.
The competition which started last Friday has so far enjoyed large turnouts and with the Annual Town Week celebrations in full flow, another massive turnout is anticipated, especially with many of the favourite teams still in contention in this year’s knockout format.
In the opening encounter, Royal Youths go up against Hard Knocks and this will be followed by the clash between Classic Six and ½ mile/ One mile.
Next up is the encounter between Plantain & Cheese and Future Stars, before Team 25 take on Constab.
Following a break, the action continues with Jermaine and Sons Silver Bullets tackling F.C. Deportez, before Magic Stars engage Unknowns.
The penultimate game of the evening features Eagles versus High Rollers, while the final game pits Amelia’s Ward Russians versus Main Street Panthers.
