TCL Guyana Inc. joined the group of more than ten companies that have tangibly shown their support to GuyExpo 2016. On Tuesday, TCL presented a million-dollar cheque to the organisers of the grand trade fair and exposition, an act which further demonstrated the commitment of companies in the Private Sector to an initiative that is geared to effectively showcase Guyanese products and services.
Ms. Allison Jardine of TCL presented the cheque to Ms. Dawn Holder Alert, Chairperson of GuyExpo, 2016.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony, which was held in the Boardroom of the GuyExpo Secretariat, Mark Bender, Plant Manager of TCL Guyana Inc. praised the efforts of the organisers of the event and said that his company is always pleased to support events such as GuyExpo. Meanwhile, Ms. Holder Alert, on behalf of the GuyExpo Committee expressed gratitude to TCL Guyana Inc. for coming on board the event.
GuyExpo 2016 is slated for May 12 to May 15, and will be held under the theme “50 Years, Guyana Means Business – Promoting Enterprise, Driving Productivity”.
This premiere trade fair and exposition organised by the Ministry of Business in collaboration with the Private Sector, will give our many local businesses of all categories, types and sizes and other foreign exhibitors the opportunity to showcase their products and services, not only to those who reside in Guyana but also those living abroad who will be visiting Guyana for its 50th Independence Celebrations.
