During yesterday’s session at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB), Ministry of Finance, bids were opened for the supply of materials, labour and equipment to be used to install a transmission and water distribution network at Waiakabra, Soesdyke/Linden highway. This project was under the Guyana Water Inc.
Meanwhile, under the Ministry of Agriculture’s National Agricultural Research and Extension Institute (NAREI), bids were opened for the installation of a 365m Brushwood Dam along the foreshore at Walton Hall, Essequibo Coast, Region No. 2. The engineer’s estimate was $11.1M.
There were also bids under the Ministry of Public Security for a consultant to provide support for training at the Ministry of Public Security.
And bids were opened for the supply of vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles, and flashlights in lots 1-4
The final project under the Ministry of Public Security was for the supply of vehicles. There were bids, again in lots 1-2.
There was another project for the installation of a 240m Brushwood Dam along the foreshore at Lusignan, East Coast Demerara, Region No. 4. The engineer’s estimate was $10.3M.
