There will be some more daring robberies on easy targets. The fact that it would be broad daylight and many people in the vicinity would not stop the bandits from carrying out their plan. The police would be kept busy. They may also revert to the plan they had developed during the Christmas season.

Accusations will be flowing fast and furious. Shoppers, hoping to get benefits as the independence jubilee approaches, will cry foul. They would seek the bargains in the many Chinese stores that dot the city, only to find that they would be buying substandard goods.
Sad that the Guyana National Bureau of Standards is not doing a good job monitoring.

The fraud has been uncovered but suddenly the authorities would find another, even as the country is confused about money owed by a Chinese company that bought the shares in the local telephone company.
The matter is not going to be resolved anytime soon.
