Registration deadline is May 9
The 34th edition of the Ministry of Education (MoE)/National Sports Council (NSC)/Guyana Cycling Federation (GCF) Three Stage Cycle Road Race will be held on May 14th and 15th next.
The 1st Stage (Corriverton Police Station to New Amsterdam commences at 07:30hrs on Saturday 14th May); 2nd Stage (Rosignol Ferry Stelling to Carifesta Avenue, Georgetown commencing at 14:00hrs on Saturday 14th May); Third Stage (Linden to Homestretch Avenue, Georgetown, commencing at 08:00hrs on Sunday morning 15th May).
Prospective competitors are encouraged to register their names as well as those of their Team/Club Managers by Monday May 9th.
Meanwhile, transportation from National Sports Council to Corriverton, Berbice will be available for all cyclists and their equipment on Friday 13th May at 12.00hrs and from the City to Linden on Sunday 15th May at 05:00hrs.
The Race requirements are as follows:
– International teams should comprise of five (5) cyclists and one (1) official
– All cyclists must present their Cyclist Licences for 2016 before the start of the race.
– All Cyclists must be in possession of their competition number.
– All cyclists must wear their Club/Team Shirts at all stages of the race.
