Two of Guyana’s leading International Referees, Venton Mars and Sherwin Moore have been selected to
officiate in the Caribbean Football Union Club Championship Final Round set for Haiti from April 29 to May 1 at the Stade Sylvio Cator in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
The four group winners that have earned the right to compete in the semi finals are: Group 1 W Connection of Trinidad and Tobago; Group 2 Don Bosco of Haiti; Group 3 Central FC of Trinidad and Tobago; and from Group 4 Arnett Gardens of Jamaica.
W Connection will play Arnett Gardens in match on Friday, while Don Bosco will face Central FC in the feature clash. The losing semifinalists will play Match 3 on May 1, ahead of the final, also on May 1, with the winning semifinalists.
The top three teams will advance to the Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League.
This will be Moore’s second consecutive finals while Mars will be looking to add another final to his name after officiating in the last Caribbean Cup finals held in Jamaica. The duo will leave Guyana tomorrow and return next Monday.
