Continental Group of Companies under its Sunburst Juices brand signaled its continued support for Superbike racer Stephen ‘Valentino Rossi’ Vieira after Office Manager Chaitnarine Brijmohan handed over a cheque for an undisclosed sum to the racer at the Company’s Head Office in Industrial Site yesterday.
Witnessing the presentation was Marketing and Sales Manager Avalon Jagnandan, who noted that the Company through its lead brand Sunburst Juices was pleased to continue its partnership with Vieira as one of its Sunburst Brand Ambassadors.
He added that over the years, Vieira has truly embraced the slogan of Sunburst, which is branded ‘Juice of Champions’ with his international and domestic achievements. Jagnandan noted that over the years Continental Group of Companies through its Sunburst Brand has supported sports in Guyana in a wide array of areas, these being Motor Racing, Badminton, Football, Table Tennis, Karate, Hockey, Golf and Horse Racing just to name a few.
He added that Sunburst Juice remains fully committed towards the growth and development of youths and sports in Guyana. Jagnandan also thanked patrons for their support towards the locally manufactured juice, which is made in Guyana by Guyanese, since it’s through the consumption of Sunburst Juice by consumers nationwide that Continental Agencies Ltd is able to give back to the development of youth and sports in Guyana.
He extended best wishes to Vieira who will be competing in the upcoming Caribbean and International racing Meets as he gears to regain the CMRC Superbike Championship later this year.
Vieira in his response thanked the Company for showing the faith in him over the years and promised to do his best to make the Company proud. He extended thanks also to all those who’ve supported him during his career as a Superbike racer and assured them that he is doing everything in his power to regain the title.
