A construction worker who police said was found with 1000 grams of marijuana was remanded to prison
yesterday when he appeared before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan.
Andel Solomon, 27, of Yarrowkabra, Kuru Kuru, Soesdyke- Linden Highway shifted his weight as his charge was read to him. Solomon denied that on April 14 at Kuru Kuru Soesdyke he had in his possession 1000 grams of cannabis sativa.
No facts were stated in court. Prosecutor Dinero Jones said that the analysis report is still incomplete.
The Chief Magistrate then remanded Solomon to prison until May 12 for statements.
