Sparta Domino Club has thrown over $300,000 in a free entry competition which will take place tomorrow at R&R Domino Club in Meadow Brook.
The competition which is open to all teams will carry a top prize of $200,000 for the winners, while second and third placed finishers will receive $75,000 and $30,000 respectively.
Organiser of the tournament Mark ‘Jumbie’ Wiltshire speaking with Kaieteur Sport via telephone yesterday said that the format that will be used is the 2 in 1 out four games system, adding that registration closes at 16:00 hrs and no late entry will be allowed.
Wiltshire added that most of the top teams have already expressed a desire to participate in the competition and he expects a tough battle among the various teams.
