Ray Millington used the opportunity in the Second Guyana Police Force, B Division sponsored and Flying Ace Cycle Club (FACC) organised event to show that his victory in the first held two weeks ago was no fluke. The 28

Millington began grinding out his competitors from the starting line and soon jumped the pack as he rode most of the race unchallenged for a convincing win.
As like in the first event, the race was once again jointly coordinated by Coach Randolph Roberts and the force’s B Division Community Relations Officer, Assistant Superintendent Keith Williams and was staged as part of the force’s renewed community relations drive and ways of doing things differently.
Again the race was for cyclists of the FACC only. The junior, U16 and female cyclists were given a few minutes head start. As the senior riders were sent on their way a reasonable size Sunday morning gathering that included newly appointed Commander Assistant Commissioner Ian Amsterdam and former Mayor and Prominent businessman Errol Alphonso were on hand.
Millington soon left the senior bunch in his wake as he caught up with the other riders up front. He was soon all alone as he rode home for the convincing win.
Occupying the other spots were Clement Doris in second, Curtis Dey third and veteran Syborne Ferdandes fourth.
Curtis Dey was first among the juniors, while Zamal Khan continued his dominance among the U16 riders with another win.
In the female category, Whitney Poyer turned the table on Tamika Teixeira for an easy win.
The Prime point prizes were shared between Khan and Millington with three each.
