The Golyn 10/10 countrywide softball cricket tournament organized by the Guyana Softball League and sponsored by Golyn and sons, Trophy Stall and Miss Love Trading (West Coast) will resume this weekend with some eleven matches in three zones being set.
The fixtures are as follows:
West Coast Zone:
At Leonora:
Omesh XI versus Mighty Lions:
Omesh XI will be looking to build on their recent popularity in the one day tournament in which they defeated Wolf’s Warriors to take the top prize. The team is bubbling with confidence and will look to crush any opposition at this time. Mighty Lions have been going about their work quietly, chalking up wins and gaining points but will have to play hard to win this one. This match will be very close.
Ruimzeight XI versus Maracs XI:
Ruimzeight XI will be looking to come out of this encounter with a win and further strengthened their chances of a quarter final spot. Maracs have been low on confidence as shown in their last encounter in which they lost badly and the skipper will be pulling out all the stops in order to restore the confidence in the team.
Good Fortuin Exclusive XI face Superstreet XI, Power XI tackle Viper XI and Amazon Warriors XI challenge Crossbreed XI.
The East Bank will see four matches being played at Diamond.
The Linden Zone will start this weekend with two matches and the other teams are asked to contact the representative Mortimer Denny.
Meanwhile, the one ball manto sponsored by Miss Love Trading (West Coast) will see a winner being crowned in this first phase as the King and the second phase will start next weekend.
