GAPF Calendar of Events for remainder of 2016

Following the successful hosting of the Novice Championships on Sunday February 28 last at the Rosignol Primary School and sponsored by Fitness Express, the Guyana Amateur Powerlifting Federation (GAPF) has released a calendar of events for the remainder of the year.
All the events are slated to take place in the City. On Sunday June 5th, the annual Intermediate / Claude Charles Memorial Championships will take place.
On Saturday July 9th, a Bench Press competition will take the form of a fund-raising activity for the federation. The Sammy Barker Raw Classic competition is set for Sunday September 4th and this event will also feature a Schools Raw Push-Pull competition.
The curtains will come down on activities with the federation’s marquee event, the Senior National Championships on Sunday November 27th, 2016.
