Dem boys seh…Prayer does mek things happen

Men does get vex when people tek what is dem own. For example, if a man tek another man wife, that man does get vex to de point that dem can kill.
But that does only happen when West Indies not playing cricket. When West Indies playing cricket dem can’t be bothered about anything till de match done.
Yesterday some men wake up and decide that de only thing dem wife should do is bring something fuh dem eat. All dey was prepared to do was sit and watch cricket pun de TV.
Things go good early in de morning.  Dem see de women’s team beat Australia. Australia was de big gun because dem win de last three women’s World Cup.
When that happen then dem allow dem wife to talk to dem. Dem laugh and mek joke. De wife also start to feel comfortable because she had a loving husband.
But things does change in a hurry. When a hurricane come de place does get quiet and things does look peaceful. Then all of a sudden all hell does break loose. That is wha happen yesterday.
De men bowl out England and de husband was happy. This was de calm before de storm. De storm break when West Indies start to bat. De same husband who was quiet and then happy become like a hungry lion in a bad mood.
West Indies start a batting collapse that mek all dem men cuss. Courts gun mek money today and tomorrow. Nuff people got to buy back TV and dem satisfaction gun be that de TV was old anyhow. Some of dem break up dem TV.
When things bad dem boys does advise people to keep de faith. Sometimes dem does tell people to pray. Well people who never go to church in dem life pray like if praying going out of style when de last over come.
West Indies had to get nineteen and all who bruck up dem TV couldn’t see wha happen. One big strong man hit de first ball fuh six. De noise start up. De man hit de second ball fuh six and de praying get more serious. Then de man hit de third ball fuh six and men behave like children when dem get a new toy.
De hurricane come and gone. Dem boys suh happy that dem get drunk and dem didn’t have much to say.
Talk half and wait fuh de next hurricane when Li’l Joe hold he press conference.
