The organisers, coordinator and organizing committee of the recently held Guyana Cup Fever horserace meet has expressed their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all the sponsors, the members of the public and the various media houses in Guyana who contributed in one way or the other in making their one day horse race meet a success. The event was held on Sunday last, March 27th 2016, at the Rising Sun Turf Club, West Coast Berbice.
The members of the management Committee would like to say a big thank you once again to the Government of Guyana, especially Director Of Sport Christopher Jones, Beverage Giants Banks DIH Limited, Nand Persaud and Company Limited –Karibee Rice, Jumbo Jet Truck Auto Sales, Agricultural Machinery and Equipment, Ramesh Sunich of Trophy Stall, Kris Jagdeo Construction, Sharrif, ”Nankoo” Racing Stable, Fazal Habuulla ,Chester Fried Chicken Of Bush Lot, Inshan Bacchus Trucking Service, Rising Sun Turf Club and Crown Vibes Sound Systems among others.
According to coordinator Nasrudeen (Jumbo Jet) Mohamed Junior, the committee will also like to say special thanks to Commander B Division Assistant Commissioner Ian Amsterdam and ranks of the Guyana Police Force and to all for their support and look for their continued patronage for the next race meet.
