Guyana’s Golden Jaguars kept the Golden Arrowhead fluttering high as they marched farther
on in Group 5 action in the 2016/17 Scotiabank CFU Men’s Caribbean Cup football championship.
King Solomon Austin was the man to make no mistake during the second half of the match following a goalless first segment, as he drilled his shot from close range. That goal proved to be the decider as the teams battled throughout.
This victory follows their 7-0 win over the visiting Anguilla at Providence. Anguilla also went under to Puerto Rico 4-0 in Anguilla on Saturday last.
The Golden Jaguars made it count to remain unbeaten in the final Group 5 match in the first round of the 2016/17 Scotiabank CFU Men’s Caribbean Cup.
