Soccer League continued on Sunday night last at the Kuru Kururu ground, the home team contesting the feature match stormed back from two goals down to draw with Attention Family.
Royal Youths were awarded full points as their opponent, Cool Runnings failed to put in an appearance, while the opening match produced a 3-0 win for Silver Bullets over Hi Stars.
The Warriors found themselves trailing Attention Family by two goals before the end of the first 12 minute period, three periods of 12 minutes constituting the full match. Putting Attention Family ahead were Donovan Francis and Tyrone Lewis.
Kuru Kururu could have taken the lead early but their most potent striker, Cordel Johnson missed a few sitters. With the pressure building as the minutes ticked away, Johnson made amends by finally hitting the back of the nets.
The home side ensured that the fans which came out braving the dew to support did not walk away disappointed as Ryan Scott also rocked the nets to ensure the game ended 2-2.
Silver Bullets recorded their 5th win of the league compliments of a 3-1 win over Hi Stars. Orchestrating the win were Gishawn Freeman who blasted a double, the other came off the foot of Damian Williams.
Three more matches will be contested tomorrow evening at the Bayrock Beach Soccer Park, Bayrock, Linden. (Franklin Wilson)
